Meet Sebastian!
We estimate this handsome pug to be about 5 years old. He was found as a stray wandering a warehouse district in San Francisco, and although he was microchipped, his registered owners never responded. Once his stray hold was complete, the shelter reached out to us for help.
Sebastian has an old bite wound on his back that's healing nicely. He also has a pretty unique fur pattern that looks like a reverse pug stripe! It's one of the many things that makes him special.
This boy is all about people. He loves being held, happily greets new friends, and is never far from his humans if he can help it. He's active, curious, and always ready to see what you're up to, but his favorite place is curled up beside you. He's also a big fan of treats and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially off leash. Since he's been through so much change, he's a little anxious when left alone, so we'd like to see him go to a home that will either bring him everywhere, is comfortable working on separation anxiety, and/or is home most of the day.
The shelter noted a cracked canine, so we got Sebastian in for a dental. It was clear he hadn't received much dental care before coming to us, but he's now feeling much better. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is being fostered in the East Bay.
If you're looking for an affectionate, friendly pug who will happily keep you company on walks, adventures, and the couch, Sebastian is ready to be your new best friend.
