Gus is an incredibly sweet little pug, estimated to be around 8 years old.
He came to rescue alongside another dog after their family made the difficult decision to give up their dogs. Despite everything he's been through, Gus has a gentle, loving spirit. In fact, when he first arrived, he wasn't even sure what a dog bed was. Now he's discovering all the comforts of home and learning that life can be pretty wonderful.
He's a little shy when meeting new people, but once he settles in, his sweet personality shines. Gus does well at the dog park, enjoys spending time with his foster siblings, walks great on a leash, and is just beginning to learn how to play.
This tiny guy loves a good meal and has an adorable habit of burrowing into blankets until he finds the perfect spot for a cozy nap.
Gus is continuing to work on his potty training and is making great progress. He'll be neutered on July 23 and will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.
